Hot/cold production

In the hot/cold procedure, i.e. the heated fat phases and cold water phases are combined and immediately emulsified. Becomix developed a homogeniser for the hot/cold process as early as 1981 and has been continuously improving it ever since. The result:

  • Reduction in production times by more than half
  • 40% less energy consumption due to shorter heating and cooling times as well as quicker production processes
